From two hubs to a tier-one impact manager.
A deliberately staged plan: prove the model narrow, then scale it. Every year has a capital target and a small set of deliverables we hold ourselves to.
2026 – 2030
Building the Foundation
Establish operational presence in 2 regional hubs. Launch a pilot portfolio of 5–8 investments across core sectors — Renewable Energy, FinTech, Technology, and Education. Deploy $50M in initial capital. Build partnerships with regulators, DFIs, and strategic corporates.
Expanding Reach
Grow to 4 hubs across Africa and key emerging markets. Raise $150M in additional capital. Expand the portfolio to 15+ projects, with emphasis on Tech, Media, and Information Education ventures. Establish an investor relations platform for quarterly reporting.
Proving Performance
Execute first profitable exits, targeting IRR ≥15%. Develop a proprietary impact and ESG measurement framework. Launch thought-leadership initiatives in Technology and Education. Position for a second fundraise with a proven track record.
Scaling Impact
Launch Fund II, targeting $300M in commitments. Broaden investment scope to include media tech, digital education platforms, and climate-resilient technologies. Deepen strategic partnerships with universities, incubators, and accelerators. Standardize impact scoring and a digital investor dashboard.
Institutional Leadership
Reach $500M AUM cumulative across funds. Establish the 7 Times Capital Innovation Lab to incubate tech-enabled education and media ventures. Achieve global recognition as a tier-one impact-driven investment manager. Begin planning Fund III at a $1B+ target size.

Targets are illustrative planning objectives set out in the 7 Times Capital 5-Year Strategic Plan. They are not guarantees of future performance. Capital is at risk.
Impact is reported with the same rigor as returns.
Our fifth core value is Impact: we measure success not just in financial returns, but in lives transformed. That commitment becomes infrastructure on a fixed schedule.
Baseline & Data
Impact data is captured alongside financial data from the first pilot investments, including jobs supported, energy generated, patients reached, and learners served.
Proprietary Framework
A proprietary impact and ESG measurement framework is developed and applied across the portfolio, alongside our first sector thought-leadership reports.
Standardized Scoring
Impact scoring is standardized across Fund II and surfaced to investors through a digital dashboard, reported with the same quarterly cadence as financial results.
Innovation Lab
The 7 Times Capital Innovation Lab incubates tech-enabled education and media ventures, extending impact investing upstream of the fund itself.
